Overview
Shafaq uses only the cookies strictly necessary for the service to function. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party tracking of any kind.
Cookies We Use
Authentication session cookie
When you sign in to Shafaq, Supabase (our authentication and database provider) sets a first-party session cookie to keep you signed in between visits. This cookie contains a session token; it does not contain your personal data. It expires when your session ends or when you sign out.
This is a strictly necessary cookie. Without it, the service cannot function for authenticated users.
What We Do Not Use
- Advertising or targeting cookies
- Analytics cookies (Vercel Analytics is not enabled on this site)
- Social media pixels or embeds
- Third-party tracking scripts
- Cross-site tracking of any kind
Managing Cookies
You can delete cookies at any time via your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out of Shafaq. Most browsers also allow you to block cookies entirely; however, blocking the Supabase session cookie will prevent sign-in from working.
For instructions on managing cookies in your browser, refer to your browser's help documentation.
Changes to This Policy
If we introduce new cookies in the future (for example, if we enable analytics), we will update this policy and the effective date above before doing so.
